The team assists patients and families with admission procedures, room allocation, consent formalities, documentation and discharge planning. • Assistance with OPD to IPD admission process
• Explanation of room categories — ward, semi-private, private, deluxe, suite
• Bed/room allocation based on patient preference and availability
• Registration and completion of admission documents/consent forms
• Coordination with nursing station and billing/TPA desk
• Transfer of patient to respective ward with full brief to nursing unit
• Coordination with doctors for discharge order and summary
• Preparation of discharge summary and investigation reports file
