Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for services booked via Health Point Hospital, Ranchi.


1. Appointment Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by Patient

You may cancel an appointment through:

  • Phone call to +91 8877 300 333

  • Visiting the hospital reception

  • (If available) Online cancellation through website

We recommend cancelling appointments at least 2–3 hours in advance.


Cancellation by Hospital

An appointment may be canceled/rescheduled if:

  • Doctor is unavailable due to emergency

  • Unexpected medical situations

  • Technical issues in the system

  • Overbooking or operational constraints

In such cases, patients will be informed through SMS or phone call.


2. Refund Policy (For Online Payments, If Applicable)

Refunds may apply only under the following conditions:

Eligible for Refund

  • Double payment due to system error

  • Payment deducted but booking failed

  • Appointment canceled by hospital

  • Doctor unavailable for consultation

  • Technical failure preventing service delivery


Not Eligible for Refund

  • Patient does not show up for appointment

  • Patient arrives late and misses slot

  • Patient provides incorrect details

  • Consultation has already taken place

  • Change of mind after booking

  • Services already availed


3. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved:

  • Refund will be processed within 7–10 working days

  • Amount will be credited to the same payment method

  • Processing time may vary depending on bank/payment gateway


4. Rescheduling Policy

You may reschedule an appointment once, depending on doctor availability.

Rescheduling is subject to:

  • Slot availability

  • Emergency cases

  • Hospital operational hours


5. Diagnostic Test Bookings (If Applicable)

Refund allowed only when:

  • Test is cancelled before sample collection

  • Technician or lab unavailability

  • Wrong test booked due to staff error

No refund if:

  • Sample already collected

  • Patient withdraws mid-process


6. Hospital’s Right to Refuse Refund

Health Point Hospital reserves the right to refuse refund requests when:

  • Policies are violated

  • Fraudulent payments are detected

  • Patient misuses the booking system
